Corrina is a musicologist, cellist, and teacher with a special interest in writing programme notes and sleeve notes for concerts and recordings. With an excellent academic and musical background, Corrina can write carefully researched, impeccably stylish, and eminently readable notes on music of all styles and eras. Recently Corrina has written notes on the music of George Frederick Handel, Valentin Silvestrov, George Muffat, Gustav Mahler, Henry Purcell, Johann Michel Bach, Guillaume Dufay, Peteris Vasks, W.A. Mozart, Dmitri Shostakovich, Marin Marais, and Leos Janacek ~ among many other composers ~ for performances by internationally renowned musicians and ensembles. Corrina is happy to be commissioned by individuals, agents, concert and event organisers, and ensembles. |

Projects Corrina is also interested in undertaking larger projects, such as preparing performing editions from manuscript and early facsimile. She has prepared performing editions of pieces from Anthony Holborne's Pavans, Galliards, Almains and other short Aeirs, Walter Porter's motets. She is currently undertaking a survey of cello sonatas by Jean-Baptiste Barrière. |

Teaching Corrina is an experienced cello teacher, and is happy to teach pupils of all ages. She has taught privately and in community music centres. Between 2008 and 2010 Corrina taught music theory, A-level harmony, and cello at the Purcell School. Please contact her by email to discuss lessons.
